Especially women, I am trying to convince the girlfriend to shift to paleo.

Paleorainy's amazing photos have sown a seed, and because of that there is a chance she'll convert if she has a little more evidence.

I'll tell you the sticking point, and I am going to simplify for brevities sake.

I say the body sees the level of incoming fat as the measure by which it stores energy. So if there is alot of incoming fat then it stores nothing.

What she is afraid of is that as her body is used to no fat etc, when the fat intake increases her body will also increase until it gets used to the level. Simply put, she is afraid of some kind of fat rebound before the paleo skinny kicks in.

Did she?  If so, how did it work for her?

The first picture was taken in June 2009, but it's what I looked like in April 2010. I really didn't start losing the fat off the waist until I incorporated Intermittent Fasting. I have a food journal.

I didn't have enough insight to take a "before" pic when I started paleo so I really do not have any pics to compare. That said I have noticed than I have become leaner and shaved quite a bit off the torso.

Most folk say they notice it in my face and my trousers seem to point to my waist and backside. Since I am aiming to get down to 182 lbs by Spring for the 2011 race season these will be my benchmark photos.

Sorry for the pic quality......taken at 6:30AM while getting ready to cycle to work. Weight at the time was 192.3 lbs.

This pic is about 3 weeks old.

My goal is to get some better muscle tone, and fix the issues with my left leg. The above pic was taken after a sedentary period. Just soaking in hot/cold water 4 or 5 times/week. I needed to rest my leg, and give the tendonitis in my groin tendon time to heal up. Seems like it's doing better. I healed tendonitis in my elbows decades ago. It needed rest, then exercise and conditioning with weights. My groin tendon feels stiff and dull-sore, so it's probably ready for more light exercise.
