Weight sinking like a stone.
« on: August 16, 2015, 06:11:39 PM »
I have been Paleo since Dec. of '14. I have gone from 256 to 188. I'm 47 yo male. I'm weighing what I weighed in high school.

I was curious how much more I will lose? At what point will by weight level out?

Very cool!  Unless you're trying to put on muscle mass now - in which case you have the perfect canvas upon which to do so.

Up your carbs, consider tubers post-workout (strength training or sprinting) if you want to gain muscle.  I'm a firm believer in exercise/physical intensity to up testosterone and muscle mass

Welcome aboard!

Now that I can visibly see that I have muscles I do have a desire to make them bigger. When you say tubers, do you mean things like sweet potatoes, carrots, and other root vegetables?

Honestly it's just calories in vs. calories out (expended) that can dictate weight loss vs. gain.

Yes, sweet potatoes etc. for tubers.  Keep to post-workout

Also, post a sample Daily food intake plan for yourself.
Don't lie, just a typical day for yourself eating-wise

Today for example:
Breakfast: I had about 4oz of summer sausage and a bowl of my homemade cereal which contains coconut flakes, honey, vanilla, almond slices, and coconut milk.

Lunch: 6oz of barbecue brisket & turkey. A few bites of coleslaw.

Dinner: 6oz salmon and a big bowl of steamed broccoli & cauliflower.

For snacks I have pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and almonds. I also had one of my fudgcicles which contains coconut milk, vanilla, honey, and cocoa powder.

That's pretty much typical.
