Hi all,

How large is the amount of fats or fiber for you in order to heave healthy daily and frequent bowel movements? I do eat my meats with veggies, some olive oil and duck fat, but that doesnīt seem to be enough. Some people mentioned coconut oil. But how much? Like 1 tablespoon or 3? Or do you eat fruits after meat meal? And which?

I've never gotten too much into fancy dressings, I've always done oil and vinegar or oil and lemon juice, but have you tried apple cider vinegar as the base of yours? It might be a little sweeter than red wine or white vinegar. Also- you could try coconut sugar or a freshly squeezed fruit juice to cut the tartness.
Not sure that helped you too much, but I hope you find a solution!
Miscellaneous / newbie question - Sugar in dressing

I'm brand new to the forum and have started Paleo for 5 of 7 days over the last 3 weeks.  I love to cook, being a pharmacist....
I haven't had sugar (intentionally) in very much - now using stevia.

I'm into creating great Paleo salad dressings.  I want to start with Italian, which seems easy. Problem is without sugar or that dreaded high fructose corn syrup, it seems bitter.
At first I ground up all the herbs using a mortar/pestle (old habits).  I thought that was doing it. So the next time I used whole herbs.  Better, but still not the same. Perhaps the Stevia didnt help either since I'm making the change from Splenda to Stevia in everything.

I'm looking for some advice from someone who has successfully mastered (or close to ) the art of dressings...

Any suggestions?

The paleo diet means eating as close to what humans ate during the paleolithic as is reasonably possible today.

Way back when I was ROTC I did buds warning order. You can google it. That will get anyone in shape without weights. I have also done P90x but itís nice if you have resistance bands and dumbbells for that but not required.

Edit just noticed this thread was so old, Iím leaving comment for future people looking for this information.

Yummly has tons of recipes and ideas for paleo breakfast that has helped me keep changing it up. Iím one of those people that canít eat the same thing more than 3-4 times a month without it making me sick to think about it so I trick myself by cooking the same things differently. The breakfast bites are a fun and enjoyable way to cook bacon and eggs.
