Best paleo recipes for football party?
« on: September 06, 2011, 01:24:36 PM »
Any personal favorite paleo recipes (not seafood) for a football party? The Steelers play this Sunday and I really want pizza! So, I am hoping to find other recipes in order to resist the temptation.

Thanks!

Grilled meats on a stick!  Chicken, beef, pork, the sky is the limit...
No expectations, no disappointments!

I would LOVE that. I don't have a grill :(

Any good recipes for stews or soups?

Smoked Ribs and Smoked Wings (without any added sugar) are solid.
*it's what I chose for my fantasy football draft party, haha

You can buy cheap full racks of ribs and do them in your oven or call BBQ joints around you and ask if they add any sauce (i.e. sugar) or rub on their ribs and if so, can they do it without it (Paleo-style).

Smoked wings are good (or you can oven-bake them with Frank's Red Hot Sauce).

Meat plates (salami & pepperoni), Paleo tuna salad dip (with celery or cucumber chips) or if you want to go really bold, you can do an entire pork should in the oven for about 15 hours prior to the party...

Just a few ideas, and although I am a Falcon's fan, I hope your Steelers kill those Baltimore schmohawks... Haha

There is a great stew recipe I want to try on Robb Wolf's site today.

Also, I'd do some paleo guacamole with carrots, cucumbers, celery, to dip. Om nom.

Beanless chili!
