One morning there was some sweet corn left, and I ate that for breakfast.  WONDERFUL.

Non paleo, though.

So some of you don't eat breakfast at all?  I thought it was a bad thing to not eat breakfast.

I don't eat breakfast or lunch. I drink lots of water and tea to stave off the stomach gurgles, but in general I find I have more energy if I don't eat

I thought corn wasn't paleo?

I suppose Paleo is a starting point and some people just allow different things.   Huh

I'm not dying or anything. Yes, I feel hunger. Not a lot, but maybe every 2 hours or so, I feel some hunger pangs. I just ignore it and it goes away (this is a skill I perfected while quitting smoking - ignoring urges). It has gotten much much less since I started doing this, and I imagine it will go away, assuming I eat properly at night.

I find it important for 2 reasons: I feel much much better during the day. AND I feel that if a person can control the urge to eat, especially in our society where food is so prevalent, then they can ignore any urge.

The more fat you eat, the longer you stay satiated. I do not feel hungry until about 1pm or so, usually.

This is a really good blog where the guy eats a pure carnivorous diet and eats once a day, but he eats tons more fat than I do

EDIT: Here's another reference to intermittent fasting / infrequent eating from PaNu

You are correct -- it never occurred to me that corn = grain.  Remind me not to make THAT mistake again.   Sad

I second "leftovers."  One morning there was some sweet corn left, and I ate that for breakfast.  WONDERFUL.

Sweet corn doesn't sound at all Paleo.

The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.
