Aren't they amazing?  So crunchy and delicious.

I've tried making them, but I think I was doing it wrong--they weren't very good.  How do you guys make yours?

I have kale in the garden - I used the frilly one this time. I believe you can use any kind. I'm also going to try this with other leaves - I think broccoli, kohlrabi, etc would be good, maybe silverbeet
  • Cut off stems, tear into pieces.
  • Drop into a bag and sprinkle on evoo (or other oil)
  • Kinda toss by hand to ensure oil coats each bit.
  • You can toss with garlic powder (and I suppose any other powder) and/or salt but don't use too much. I used garlic powder but next time will just use real garlic/herbs in the oil
  • Spread on baking paper or just spread single layer on trays in moderate oven
  • Takes around 12-15 mins to brown on the edges
