Do you think it's too risky to eat them raw, so I am getting the full use of the egg?

My understanding is that raw egg yolk is very healthy and contains some goodies that are destroyed by cooking, but raw egg white contains some anti-nutrients that are reduced by cooking. I normally eat mine poached or fried so that the white is solid but the yolk is still runny/custardy.

I eat raw fertilized eggs all the time.

No infertile eggs for me.

The propaganda about eating animal foods raw is just that. Propaganda. The risk is virtually zero if you are a healthy individual. I have eaten raw eggs, raw beef, raw lamb, raw fish and seafood, raw blood, etc. with no side effects. The bacteria that naturally occur on raw animal foods were eaten by humans for millions of years, we are adapted to consuming such bacteria, which are more likely beneficial, not harmful.

This is great! I eat 4 eggs over easy each morning with 4-5 strips of organic bacon. I simply feel great after a meal like that.

Eggs have been getting an undeserved bad rap for a long time.  They're nearly a perfect source of protein.  I eat a lot of them, and my Cholesterol levels are better than any of my non-caveman friends.  PrimitiveHealth.blogspot.com

I am also thrilled with the news that eggs are GOOD for me :)  We raise chickens and have a ton of farm fresh eggs.  Needless to say, I use them quite frequently as a filler.  I also do them with the whites firm and the yolks runny.  And I never feel quite as satisfied as I do with two eggs fried up about a tablespoon of butter.  Thanks for posting!
