I've read parts of it, got the book on my girlfriends kindle, but I didn't sit down and read all of it.

My opinion goes straight to the gut and most people despise me for it, but here it is anyway:

Manhood bullshit today:

- marriage system is against men, divorce system is against men.
- monogamous marriages is anti-male, asking men to be monogamous is anti-man
- rampant contraception is de-humanizing, include abortion in it.
- government stepping in to obligate men to pay for their children and imprisoning men who don't meet this is anti-man.

Too much government interfering in manly ways!

Government should get out of people's personal business and decision making and relationships.  That way, women will seek out good men, great men.  And those dumb ass jerk, irresponsible men will be un-attractive.

As a woman, I feel it is my duty to point out that men aren't always what they seem to be at the surface.  Do you really think that my mother knew my father was an abusive ass when she married him?  No.  He hid it until she was trapped by the system and felt like she had no way out.  Then he started beating on her and putting her down.  It's easy to hide your true self from people, if you want to...
Monogamy is anti-man?  How so?  Because men should just be allowed to "spread their seed" at will?  That sounds pretty immature and irresponsible.  The rest of us have had to adjust to the changing times, and men should have to too.  Do you think I want to get up every single day and go to work?  No, but the changing times and economy has forced me into that.  I would much prefer to be a stay at home mother, but my husband expects me to work, and it never even occurred to him that I should be able to stay home with my girls, because his mother worked.  Everyone must evolve, men included.  The excuse that men are supposed to be with as many women as possible to ensure that their "good" genetics are carried on is B.S. these days.  There are over 7 billion people in the world.  I think there should be more birth control.  I'm sure that you are a very responsible man, Good Sam, but seriously?  I have a hard time swallowing it.  If men want to run around and make babies, they should be responsible for paying for them.  This isn't the cave man days where we live in communal tribes and everyone takes care of the kids.  Children cost money, and it isn't right to expect women to pay for the children by themselves, especially since we didn't crawl on top of ourselves and get pregnant.

Your mother has no family?
If someone beats her up, it is the moral duty of her family members to beat that guy up.
Her brothers, her sisters, her parents, her cousins, her grandparents....

Monogamy is anti-man?  How so?

History and world marriage.  The point is the one size fits all stupidity.  1 is to 1.  1 man to 1 woman.  Now they are stupidly trying to amend 1 man to to 1 man and 1 woman to 1 woman as well.

What is this stupid pairing sh*t?

People should be allowed to do whatever they want to do with their lives.  And people are doing so.  No need for government paper.

Who wants government paper?  Oh yeah, EBT cards?  So don't get married at all.  Single parent women get EBT cards right?

With total disregard for government paper, people will group themselves in whatever makes sense and whatever works.

Get the government out of your personal lives.

People start out as a couple, later on they decide to add another person, and later another.

In the history of the world the strongest couplings are monogamy and polygamy.

Even in today's world, the breeding behavior of men and women are polygamous.

Women flock to the "best" men lots of polygamous women are fine with that.  These polygamous women usually don't post their sentiments publicly because they are shunned by society today, but their numbers have always been high, very high.

Check out sperm banks doling out sperm from their best sellers.  No one complains that that man has bred a lot of women.  He's got great genes.

I regards to my mother, her family is sh*t.  And my father didn't "beat her up" so to speak.  He just beat her down constantly with emotional abuse.  He pushed her around a little too, but that wasn't the worst part of it.  Not everyone has a great family.  If you do, lucky you...
I respect that everyone has an opinion, and I understand that you are coming from a different place than I am.  We are all different with different view, etc.  But you say people should be allowed to do whatever they want to do with their lives.  Think about that statement for five minutes and you will (hopefully) see that there are holes in that statement  You don't want government to be involved, yet EBT cards should still be given to women who's baby daddy's won't pay for their kids?  That seems a little bit contradictory to me.  I would also like to point out that a sperm bank isn't exactly the same as going out and "breeding" a lot of women.  Also, if a woman goes to a sperm bank and willingly tries to get pregnant, knowing that the male will have no part in the babies life and will have no monitary responsiblity, that's a little bit different than being a dead beat dad and setting up franchises of families all over the country because you're a man and that's your "right" by creation.

Since the responsible men help support their children anyway, making men help support their children works to the benefit of the good men, and against the dumb as jerk irresponsible men.
