Polysystic Kidney Disease
« on: March 22, 2011, 05:41:59 PM »
I have a very close friend with this disease.  She lives in Canada.  She is in the hospital because her problem has become very much bigger.  They have her on a renal diet in which she can have some protein, some dairy, some bread, some veggies.  But this is absolutely killing her.  Does anyone have any experience with someone with this problem?  I want to help my friend live long enough to see her children out of high school and into collage.  She is 45 years old, and her doctors have given her just another 5 years.  She will be going on dialysis this summer.  It seems to me that this is the wrong food to give her.  What do you think?

100% Raw paleo diet.

Maybe temporary high animal raw fat and raw fruit, no plain water.  Coconuts and coconut meat and animal fat, raw bone marrow and some RAW animal protein.  Only grass fed raw animal and raw fruit temporarily.  Raw tuna and raw blue marlin or raw wild salmon will quench inflammation

Follow this cure protocol http://www.curemanual.com/2011/03/is-there-a-cure-for-cancer/

Dairy is inflammation causing.

Bread is inflammation causing.

Some vegetables are inflammation causing.

Cooked lean meat is kidney inflammation causing.

You must mean they are giving her a renal killing diet.

Do not drink plain water - has chlorine, has fluoride - known kidney killer.

-------

Trust in the healing power of raw animal fat for renal problems... especially grass fed raw bone marrow.
Raw organic fertilized chicken or duck eggs are good at this point.

I have passed this information on.  Whether or not she really understands this or not is up to her.  She has a cyst that has burst it seems in her liver.  It's causing much pain for her.  She was doing a little bit of paleo before this episode, but has unfortunately followed her doctor's orders, and they have put her on a renal diet.  I'm very upset, but I can only suggest, it's up to her and her husband now.

Thank you for this information.

"Dr T" is a nephrologist who uses a Paleo diet with his nephrology patients and contributes to some Paleo nutrition/medicine blogs:

I eat a mostly-raw "adaptivore" diet (which emphasizes animal foods but includes some plant foods) because it works for me.
Thanks to Socrates, I recognize that the only thing I know for sure is the fact of my ignorance.
