How Paleo are "Green Drinks" supplements?
« on: April 27, 2010, 03:22:19 PM »
Hello,

I have been drink Vibrant Health Green Vibrance for quite some time, after researching the benefits of the listen ingredients. However, how paleo are Green Drinks in general? Should we include them in our diet? This topic might be debatable, but I would like any feedback from member here.

Thanks in advance,

I'd guess the only drink that's Paleo is water. Maybe blood?

Well, probably not very paleo. But, if you think about it, the meat that you buy in stores is lacking in Vitamin D because the animals are kept from sunlight, and it's lacking in all kinds of other stuff because instead of a diverse diet of various foliage and small insects/worms/grubs because the animals we eat from grocery stores are just force-fed grains until they're fat enough to kill.

Unless you actually intend to dogmatically follow the strict definition of "paleo," then these days you're probably going to want to eat a lot of the vegans' health food garbage too, including the probiotics, antioxidants and such, minus all of garbage made from grains or designed to give you your fiber.

That is, for maximum health anyway.

What Wlfdg said.

If you're worried about grain fed feedlot beef, find grass fed beef.
