« on: June 15, 2009, 05:05:02 PM » starting tomorrow I'm going back on the Paleo Diet after a 3 year hiatus.  This break has seen me gain about 40 pounds & I feel now is the time to get this baby back under control.

I plan on also starting out with some daily cardio in the morning just to get back into moving again.  From there I'll see what other exercise I will incorporate.  But I'm taking it slow.

The main thing is cutting out ALL grains/starches & dairy prodcuts because NOTHING puts weight on my body faster & causes me to slip into over-eating then these food products!!

SO wish me luck & I will try & give some interesting & hopefully helpful updates on my progress.....

Welcome back to the land of superior nutrition!

IMO- As a health and fitness professional, resistance training is more important than cardiovascular training. Cardio is certainly a great place to start! Adding muscle to your frame is going to burn fat more efficiently than cardio. A mix of both is ideal.
