Crap night last night... tweaked my back, on top of an already horrible long-term injured wrist. But on the bright side, I did get a pretty hefty front squat.

Front Squats (I used the strap-hold method instead of the clean/rack method due to my current wrist injury): 2 sets of 3 @ 135lbs/61kg, 1x3@185lbs/84kg, 1x3@205lbs/93kg, 1x3@225lbs/102kg, 1x3@245lbs/111kg, 1@275lbs/125kg, 2@295lbs/134kg, 1 miss @ 295lbs/134kg

Shrugs: 2x5@315lbs/143kg, 1x5@405lbs/184kg, 1x5@495lbs/225kg (this top set is where I hurt my back... go fig)

Back Squats (low weight, fixing form): 3x5@135lbs/61kg, 1x5@225lbs/102kg

Yesterday - Cleans up to 105kg - didn't really remember how many I did. Last few days at work have been rough and spent sitting, sore hammys = tight glutes and low back pain, which equal short extension/cutting the pull, poor start position, and the bar ended up forward... so I lost track of how many lifts I did, trying to fix my form.

Wasn't a good day. But it was good that I identified the weakness (need to stretch those hamstrings!).

After a pound of beef and a change of clothes, I helped a co-worker move. Apparently moving a television that took three of them to move, all by myself was "amazing". I told him he needed to "put his bigboy pants on".

2.5mile jog with the dog in my new Vibram Five Finger Treksports at 5:30 this morning... NO SHIN SPLINTS!!!. I kinda woke up and thought "Man... I think I need to run a little" and I did. Still sore as hell from Saturday though. Might even try to get my swim on tonight to kill some of the soreness.

These shoes ROCK! I can't wait to get off work just so I can wear them some more.

Haven't been updating the log... I've been busy RUNNING!!!

I go for random distances every night, between 1.6 and 3.5 miles (I've marked off my routes with a pedometer)

Today was cleans, again. I feel like I've got a really good thing going with this low-frequency lifting honestly... but 1x a week seems a bit slim.

Cleans: 3x50kg, 2x70kg, 2x75kg, 2x80kg, 2x85kg, 1x90kg, 1x95kg, 1x100kg, 1x107.5kg, 1x110kg/242lbs

Afterwards drove about an hour, picked up 30lbs of grassfed beef and a pastured chicken, drove back and picked up 20lbs of wild hog.

Today was Caveman Christmas!

Last week was cleans, front squats, and clean pulls. Worked up to 110kg

This week was cleans up to 2 singles @ 105kg (couple of reverse ladder sets in there to get more work in), front squats to 110x3, and shrugs up to 5x120kg. I didn't miss a lift today.
