Alayna's workout journal :)
« on: July 16, 2009, 10:30:28 PM »
I do a lot of different types of exercise...lately I have been doing a combination of workout videos from the Prevention Fitness series.  I also use the stationary bike and the treadmill for cardio.  I just started doing Megan Fox's workout program..and it kicks my butt!! I didn't realize how out of shape I was strength wise.  Megan Fox is also on the Paleo diet and combined with her workout, she looks amazing!! I will be posting on here what my exercise routine is hopefully everyday.

Today: 7/17/09

Treadmill 20 min

30 crunches

30 left oblique crunches

30 right oblique crunches

20 supermans

20 hanging leg raises

Stationary bike 30 min

Thanks! ya that's how I actually first heard of the Paleo diet.  I'm looking to get up to her fitness level..she looks so lean and toned!  We are the same height-5'6'' and she weighs 115.  I was already dieting before I started the Paleo diet so I went from 150 to 148, but now since I've started I weigh 146. :)  My first goal is to get down to 140.  I know I can do it!!

That's very cool! Wow, she only weighs that much, sheesh!! I am 120 and only 5' 2" and I thought I was pretty slim!

Where did you find her workout? Did you buy it or is it downloadable somewhere? I'd be interested in seeing it!

Here is the link: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/megan_fox_transformers_workout.htm

It tells you everything she does in her workout and there are pictures of each exercise move.  It also talks about what she eats.

Alayna, Looks great and is certainly a great place to start.

You might want to consider some full body resistance training. Core work and cardio is great stuff but it is very far from the be all, end all. The more muscle you carry the more efficient you will burn fat. Only muscle uses fat for energy.

I do mean lifting weights. You need to train your whole body. Legs, back, chest shoulders, arms and core. Bodybuilding.com has great programs and inspirational stories to read that will give you a good idea of the levels of training necessary. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/tiffany_forni.htm
