Alright! This is this past weeks workout. We started a new routine on Tuesday and hope to stick with it as long as possible. The plan is to wake up at 5-5:15am, work out in some fashion and then perhaps work out after work if time and our bodies permit.

Tuesday
Ran 20 minutes @ 5:15am
Rock Climbed @ 7pm
Strenth Training @ 8pm
     -3x10 sec Hanging Leg Raise
     -3x5 Ab Wheel
     -Hangboard exercises

I have some exciting news...
After we rock climb we ususally do some strength training afterwards in their workout area. We were playing around with the hang board and I, on a whim, tried to hang with one arm. I DID IT! I have never done anything like that. I grabbed the middle hold and hung for a few seconds with my right arm. I tried with my left but my shoulder/arm weren't having it... which is a bit weird since I am left handed. Perhaps it is better at more precise exercises and activities.

Wednesday
Strength Training @ 5:15am

Thursday
Strength Training @ 5:15am

Friday
Ran 20 minutes @ 5:15am

I pan to rock climb tonight after work. Hopefully if the BF gets off in time, we'll make it over there.

Below is an example of a hangboard for those who don't know. It is made of the same substance as indoor climbing holds. It is used to do many things but it helps work grip in particular.

Wow 15 days and I posted nothing! I haven't really done too much working out during then except rock climbing, maybe a run, and then I walked 6+ miles when we went to Scarborough Faire.

I WAS doing very well. Waking up hella early to run or do strength. Then (I proceed with excuse time) I got involved in a Marketing research project my company was doing. The work days were 12-13 hours and I was given "bad" food. I then had a hard time getting up and motivating myself.

During and after this camping trip this weekend I hope to get back in to it. We are bringing our running gear to run on the trails. I've plateaued off in weight loss. I haven't appeared to gain any but I haven't lost any since I got down to 161lbs. (I started at 190lbs.) My mom thinks it'll be hard for me to get much smaller, but I believe my body is supposed to be more lean. I just need to work at it to get there -- and be strict in making sure I maintain -- not lose -- weight.

I did go hiking and swimming on my camping trip, but no running. We really drank a bit too much each night for me to wake up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed... and ready to run!

That's ok. I am working hard to eat properly now and work out 5-6 times a week again. I felt so wonderful when we were in that routine.

Wednesday - currently planned...
Indoor Rock Climbing
Few Strength Training exercises
