I'll send them the thing where you described how your knee hurts and see if they have anything to say about it!!
I ment to say thank you (again, but) much sooner! This is very nice of you!  :) Have you heard anything from them?

Update: Knee still bad. And I've been walking the dog 20-30 min the last few days. As I wrote in my food journal, I was hospitalized last week. Still not feeling on top of my game, if I can say that with my #%! knee,  :-X , but getting better. Also, winter definitely approaching, only a matter of time before I need to change to winter tires. On the bright side (jinxing it now...) there is no rain or snow. Snow causes problems. I don't need more of them now (nor do I ever). Physical therapist also put me back on the bike - for a whole: 2 mins! Well, it's progress.

Knee feels better. I can bicycle with no resistance ("  :o ", I know). It's big progress.  :) Last time I had inflammation it took 8 months to get well, even though I was on crutches the whole first month.

Yesterday, 20-30 min walk with the dog, 50 situps, 50 bridges.

Today, 2 x 20-30 min walks with the dog, 50 Russian twists, 50 bridges.

20-30 min evening walk. Full moon and practically day light, and freezing cold. 20 situps and 20 bridges.

PT today, I think the knee is getting better. It has been bothering me a little after I saw him though. I had to use it alot, hold it in position and stuff, for 15-20 min. I don't think it did it any favors. The electro-thingies, the electrodes (?) he puts on each side of the kneecap weren't working properly. I'm always 5-10 min late to his appointments, and I guess he wanted to punish me a little. I told him they didn't work, and he asked me to lift/move the knee/foot to make them work (worked in 10 sec intervals before I had to switch again). Usually he fix them. He seemed mad. I don't blame him, I'm just worried about the healing.

So the chiropractor had his go at my knee for the first time. He is working on a tight muscle right between the quads and hamstrings on the outside, and down, close to the knee. It hurt like .... ! It's really swollen now.

He and his partner examined it on Thursday, so today was muscle work. Like baking bread. When you are angry. I still feel the key is the hip area. No one else seems to think so. I've even got; "there's nothing we can do" - without looking deeper!

2 x 20-30 min walks, 25 Russian Twists, 25 bridges.

Only one 20-30 min walk Saturday. My knee was killing me. 50 situps.

Yesterday it was raining heavily, today it's practically full storm. Average windy and average rainy for fall, I guess.

1 h walk in the wind and the rain. Knee was holding out pretty well until this evening, when I stumbled and almost fell trying to step over a full laundry basket, and there was something behind it I didn't see and I missed the step and twisted my knee. It hurts.  ::)

My knee is still busted. I've done physical therapy, and am now waiting to get some tests done. It takes so much time with docs. I hate to say this, but I half expect it to wind up with surgery. Scares me beyond words (it's my KNEE).  :-[

I do a few exercises like push ups, sit ups, short-short walks with my dog etc., but I can't even do weights. At some point it puts pressure on my knee, so I've had to let that go too.

I'm not loving living like this. No life without exercise (I'm high energy...)!

No hunting either this year. Not that I was that into it anyways, but it could have got me some food. Good food.

I've been soo tired today. I had an errand to run, but the normally 1 h to, 1 h back, trip winded up being much longer due to HORRIBLE road conditions. Snow, ice, slush, poor winter tires (I'm for studded tires around here! Changing weather conditions! -Not my car), AND WHERE WERE THE PLOWS??!??! Except the one that showered the car when I let him pass. I HATE coming around curves and there's three tire tracks. You go out in the slush - woosh - your out. You take a risk - kaboom - you risk a crash. With those darn trucks (thousands?!?), you HAVE to go as far out on the side of the road as you can - and they're not adjusting they're speed to winter conditions. NOOO. You're trying to avoid situations where you may have to brake suddenly on  slippery surface: Hah! You could walk faster. I was incredibly tired and scared afterwards (usual...). And I had to do some shopping and picking up. I don't like shopping. Not that that was the worst part.  ::)  Man, what a looooongday...  :( These things kills me. I was in car crash in late November, that of course stuck with me. Norwegian main roads are like byroads. Poorest roads, next to dirt roads. Poorest in Europe, my strong guess. I have serious problems wanting to drive this winter (this winter has been one of the worst - weather wise).

PLOWS!!! PLOWS!!! What do they expect?!? No winter up here?!?? We get it E-V-E-R-Y YEAR!!!

Sorry, sorry...  :-[

I'm going to bed now.  ;) Practically no exercise today, except a short walk with my dog this morning.

I'm just beat!  :(

Plows, man... Plows...  :(

UGH.  Driving in snow and slush in the worst.  I almost got plowed over by a lady in an SUV once barreling down the middle of the slushy road, and when I tried to avoid her I ended up sliding on the slush and hitting the curb so hard it knocked my wheels out of alignment.  Fun times!!!

I was just looking at that little posture cartoon you have a few posts back.  I think my posture must be defective, as I look the most like the middle girl on the bottom.  Little belly pooching out like that.  *sigh*

Yea I was in a car crash last year and it sticks with you for a while... eee!

I'm so sorry about your knee!! It's so important... hopefully you'll not require surgery. How long have you done PT?

Man, I'm complaining about our 20-40 degree weather. I've got thin southern blood now. Hahaha... I am originally from Michigan, but I've acclimated to Texas now apparently!!
