Go Play

So I'm a little too proud of the session I just completed to resist posting it ;D

Start off with some ad-hoc handstands (against a wall) and then frog stands 60secs total (I'm just starting out on this progression).

Set out in my newly acquired Vibram Sprints to the local sailing lake, in the pouring rain. Slip and slide for about a mile to get there, with a few sprints thrown in while on solid ground.

Climb three or four trees, staying well within myself for safety. Run/sprint & hop (through the nettle patches) around the lake (another mile or so). Scoff some wild blackberries. Jog home.

Devany-style 15-8-4/negatives/FT sets of chins, then dips (sorry, can't find the link any more).

Chuck my soaking kit in the wash, shower to get off the grime, settle to a little web surfing with a hot cup of cocoa made with coconut milk & a tickle of sweetener to take the edge off (first time I've tried this, after an hour no sugar crash, might become a favourite occasional treat!).

Best wishes to all

G

Vibram 5 finger shoes are great! My bf and I each have a pair.

Great workout!

I love, LOVE, my Vibram shoes! I've had them for a couple months now and wish I could wear them everyday - unfortunately the people I work with wouldn't think it appropriate.  :'(

Oh well, it's the weekend now - and so I'm either barefoot or in my vibrams for the next couple of days.  ;D

this is a website that I really like

www.monkeybargym.com

The whole premise of this program is functional fitness (being able to do stuff like climb ropes chin-ups) and to make workouts fun.

I have a pair of black KSO. I love sprinting with them, as long as I am in a natural surface like grass and not in asphalt. Makes you really feel how it is supposed to feel. I also workout in the from time to time.
Right Now.

I wish I could get in on the Vibram love.   :'(  I tried some on though and they don't fit my toes.  Guess I fall outside their bell curve of average feet.

You aren't alone! I've shattered all the bones in both my feet and my toes look like Cheetos. No Vibrams for me either.
