There is no quick fix.

I don't know about that, I've only been doing my workout for just over a month and I am already seeing changes in my body.


Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you have a past history of athletic pursuits. Never discount muscle memory.

That would be it then.
The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.
