Paleo kid away for the weekend

My 12 year old daughter has been on paleo for the last couple months, to help with her constant headaches she was experiencing after a concussion. In a few weeks she will be away for the weekend with her softball team. I can't go with her. Any tips on how to prepare and send her with easy and convenient paleo meals for the whole weekend? Anytime she deviates from paleo now she feels crappy, and I'd hate for her to be feeling bad for a long softball weekend. Thanks!

My go to snacks are fruit and hard boiled eggs( cold, peeled, ready to eat. Also canned salmon, canned shrimp, lettuce, cucumbers, any raw veggies really. Not really meals but put together could provide some basic nutrition. Hope this helps. Glad your daughter is doing well

Hi there, wishing your daughter the best in her recovery and new lifestyle goals :)

I'd go with "socially acceptable" Paleo or Paleo-ish things since she's a 12 year old girl with friends.
You don't want her to feel like an outsider or be called "weird" - I understand girls at that age..

Perhaps beef jerky - there are so many varieties and types.  Or pepperoni.  Apples.  Fruit that travels well.  Dried fruit if you must.  Celery and almond butter or similar.  I second the eggs (hardboiled) suggestion.

Good luck - let us know!   Oh, also could try those tuna pouches - some have seasoning on them.
