I just started intense cross fit training....I love it and I hate it at the same time. Hate doing it love how I feel afterwards. The first day in I only had a banana before working out and actually almost passed out. The trainer advised me to up my good carb and sugar intake and to also allow my body at least an hour to digest before working out. Nothing to big and easily digestible carbs. Mild to heavy proteins will make you pretty sick if eaten before a work out. Those are best post workout.
