I stopped at Total Wine last night and bought Stella Artois Cidre, Magnar's Irish Cider, Woodchuck Winter Oak Aged Draft Cider, Strongbow, and Hornsby.

Thanks for the reminder post. I usually drink hard cider in the fall. I thought I was missing something this year.

Wow, DTSMA! Great to hear from you, it's been too long.

Life has been pretty generous to me. I've been quite healthy (at least during weekdays) and my workouts have continued to be successes (3-4 per week). I'm in the process of joining a new gym and I have "bulked up" on muscle even more!

Most importantly, I continue to love and believe in the Paleolithic diet.

Also, I have decided that I am going to slowly shift some of my workouts towards interval/circuit training.

This is because I do not want to gain too much more mass, but I do want to maintain heavy weightlifting capabilities while continuing to increase my physical power.

I hope you're doing well, how's your diet and exercise as of late?

I switched from running 5Ks to Marathons. I ran the Space Coast Marathon this past November in 4:05:56. I ran the Clearwater Marathon last month  in 4:07:42. I just ran the Gasparilla Half Marathon yesterday in 1:56:15 and it could have been better, but lately my training has been lacking. I have been staying close to a Gluten-Free Diet. I have gained about 5-10 lbs from marathon training. Now that marathon season here in Florida is coming to a close, today I started a Ketogenic Diet following Steve Phinney and Jeff Voleck's book called The Art and Science of Low Carb Performance. Timothy Olson ran a record at Western States 100 (miles) last year in 14:46:42. He follows a very low carb diet. I am planning to run several marathons this fall and hoping to get into the Marine Corps Marathon. I heard that the registration window is about 3 hours. I also would like to run a 50 mile race in the winter. It looks like you are doing well. That's great!

Biggest hurdles are sweet foods and snacks at work! Cooked up a bunch of snacks for work tonight, so all done.

I leave cash and change at home and not even in my car. There is a vending machine about 30 feet away from my cubicle. It's easy to say that one candy bar won't hurt me.

I was once a member of a zero carb forum and a woman was eating two pounds of raw ground beef a day and I don't remember her having any problems. She was on it for at least a month. There are people on that forum who have been eating noting but meat, fat, and water for the past five years. I couldn't handle it past one week.

I was allowing Paleo + Dairy (Cheese) and the dairy was not working for me. Also, I have been eating ice cream almost every evening for the past two years, but staying low carb paleo during the day. I am on my 5th day without ice cream. <-That's a record.
