Progress Reports & Photos / 5 months Paleo = awesome results

I heard about paleo from a friend and was just interested mainly for the weight loss..  Pre-Paleo i was about 185 lbs and 15-18% body fat; i needed at least 4-6 cups of coffee/day just to keep "energized."

After 5 months of moderately orthodox paleo (i eat yams and clarified butter), i realize it was the best decision of my life. Now i'm at 160 lbs and 10% body fat! i only drink about 1-2 cups of coffee/day and i'm still mentally alert all day. And even with the weight loss, i've continued increase my strength gains during weight lifting!

The best part is that i've unintentionally converted a few people to Paleo; two coworkers and a friend noticed these changes, started asking me questions, and within a few weeks they all were going through ketosis   ;D

So below is a typical day for me.  I've been been using Cron-O-Meter to track meals and i tweak accordingly. I've been Paleo for one month now but one week included some cheating since i was on vacation.   :-\

i'm trying to get lean so i'm also working out to burn fat (tabata and will start strength training soon). i'm 5'9" at 175lbs. any tips/advice are welcome.

Breakfast
- 3 eggs scrambled, cooked w/ bacon ends
- 2 cups of black coffee

Lunch
- 6oz Slow roasted beef/pork chuck roast (w/ fat of course)
- 1 cup Broccoli or Kale cooked in clarified butter

Snack (not everyday)
- Banana  -or-
- Goji berries (are these paleo??)  -or-
- 1 oz almonds

Dinner
- 1 can tuna
- 1 avocado w/ onions, garlic, lime
- 1.5 cups Salad mix
- Drizzle about 3tbsp clarified butter on the above

i also drink at least a liter of water throughout the day.

Introductions / Hey All... New to Paleo and the site

Hey everyone, have been on Paleo for about 2 weeks now. I'm still learning alot and this site is a GREAT resource! As I read tid-bits of info from this site, i'm constantly tweaking my diet and exercise.
I started Paleo cause someone explained to me that its a great way to lose weight. But after 2 weeks and educating myself about Paleo, it really is a lifestyle that i plan to maintain.

So i'm happy to be a part of forum and excited about starting the paleo lifestyle!
