Introductions / Just starting this thing

Hi! I have been slowly replacing my non paleo food with better options and am still not there but just wanted to jump in and say hi. I have tried to go paleo in the past while married with a kid still at home and it never worked for me. Now I live alone as my daughter lives on her own as well. This makes it much easier.
I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and am competing for my first time this weekend. This is a huge part of why I have been putting off transitioning for real because I can't afford days off of training. After this competition, I am looking to add some weight lifting into my weekly routine and have been looking at the Starting Strength book as a possible start. I have done some weight lifting in the past but I do much better when given a specific routine.
Anyhow, it is good to meet you all and hope to start posting regularly soon!
