thank you warren, i just worry that i am not doing something right even tho i have lost 10lbs since monday :), but still feel like there are foods i am eating which i shouldn't be. i don't understand the grass fed meat thing. but i am sure i will get it eventually

friday 29th jan 2010
bacon, mushrooms and poached egg for breakfast
skipped lunch again just drank plenty of water.
4x KFC chicken pieces without the skin   :-[
a handful of nuts

saturday 30th jan 2010
1x banana for breakfast
Salad for lunch (lettuce, cucumber, celery, carrot, spring onion, radish and boiled egg) for lunch
Raywing and vegetables for dinner

sunday 32st jan 2010
2x cocktail sausages, mushrooms and a poached egg for breakfast/ lunch (ate late due to going to church)
2x belly pork slices grilled with salad (lettuce, cucumber, celery, spring onion, radish, cress with some seeds sprinkled on top)
A melon boat

Am i still going in the right direction?

Exercises / confusion

I am confused about what exercise i should be doing (i have not done any properly for about 11 years now). I am currently walking everywhere i go and goign on the wii fit plus for an hour a day doing the aerobic and training plus things on it. i have also started the running on it. Somehow i still feel like i am not exercising properly. I can't afford the gym. I have brought a skipping rope today and was thinking of going in the garden and doing that as well as the walking and wii fit. Any suggestions.

hello and welcome to caveman, i have been eating paleo for 6 days now and i have already lost 10lbs  :), i will never go back to the poison now i have even converted my husband. your story is amazing and good luck with the conversion of your work mates. Get them on here it helps me understand paleo. i learn something new everytime i come on here, anyway i am rabbitting. My husband says greetings from the UK. take care. amy x

i have just spent the last hour crying   :'( i had to take the boys from the youth group i am help run to KFC, i ended up eating 2 pieces of chicken although i did take the skin of and just ate the white chicken meat and had a bottle of water but i still feel crap and rubbish and i feel like i have really let myself down. just need a little pick me up from my friends on this forum

ok so i didn't really know where to post this one, just brought the paleo diet book by loren cordain. it is really really good and i have only read the 1st 2 chapters so far  :) As anyone else read it?

i keep writing down in a book and forgetting to post on here too so here are my last 2 days food diaries..

wednesday
3x sausages and 2 poached eggs for breakfast
skipped lunch wasn't hungry but drank loads of water through the day
chicken breast baked in the oven with stir fried veg cooked in a little water with crushed garlic for taste for dinner.

Today.
3x sausages.
skipped lunch as i was walking to the dentist (walked loads today for about an hour and half at fast pace and up a big hill)
mixed grill consisiting of steak, gammon, bacon, pork, mushrooms, onions and egg. mmmm

it will be easier from now on we have been shopping and got loads of meat in so we have more of a variety but i have lost 7lb since monday  :D which i am happy about and the headaches have stopped

If anyone sees anything wrong with my food diary and what i am eating please let me know as i am still new to this

that is brilliant well done you! i am loving eating caveman although i am struggling with what to put with meat. i used to have potatoes and veg, now it is just veg which is getting a little boring

day 4 of the paleo way of eating and i have just weighed myself and i have lost 7lb   :D I am so happy. my husband as lost 6lb too and thats without doing exercise that starts next week. i am so happy and so grateful to the members of caveman forum. thank you xx
